Welcome to the Friends Of Smarden Primary School
Known to all as FOSP, the school PTA has been running for a number of years now, helping the school to raise extra money for the school and the children.
We have been raising money in all sorts of ways over the years, from small events such as coffee mornings to our bigger Summer and Christmas fairs. We have had lots of success and raise on average around £3000 for the school each year.
FOSP needs you!! Please contact us if you would like to join The Committee. We are always looking for more, regular volunteers and are currently running with a very small number of people. The larger The Committee, the more representative it is of the school as a whole and the better it will function as a PTA.
We are always happy to hear any ideas, either at the school gates, on the phone or by email, that could help raise funds for the school.

Kevin & Vicky Williams (Blue Whippet Glass)
- I just wanted to drop you a line to say "Thank You" for letting me come along to the Fair on Saturday. It was a fantastic day and was so nice meeting you and being part of your event. I can't believe how calm and together you all were and your excellent organisational skills showed as it all came together perfectly and a brilliant day was had by all.
Smarden's Got Talent - July 10th 2015
This was Smarden Primary School's first ever talent show.
It was held at the Charter Hall on a big stage and with professional lighting thanks to one of the children's dad.
The children all felt like real stars and had an amazing time. We saw an amazing range of talent from singing and dancing to martial arts, acrobatics and even record breaking hoola hooping!
Summer Fair 18th July 2015
Our annual Summer Fair was a fair with a difference this year, because we did not have the school grounds available to use due to the recent building works.
However, despite the challenges of being on uncharted terrain, it was an afternoon enjoyed by all.
